The #1 Overlooked Aspect of Self-Care That Will Make Or Break Your Success

When we think of self-care, often some of the first things that pop into our minds are bubble baths and manicures. While these things can have a place in your self-care, there’s one aspect that you’re probably forgetting about.

But before I tell you what that is, I’d like to ask you a question: What do you do when someone you love comes to you and tells you that they've dropped the ball, apologizes profusely, and lets you in on how they plan to do better?

Step 1 -APOLOGIZE

Tell yourself "I'm sorry". What do you have to be sorry for in your current situation? Apologize to yourself.

Step 2 - SHOW FORGIVENESS

Tell yourself "Please forgive me". What you need forgiveness for in your current situation? Extend that forgiveness to yourself.

Step 3 - bE THANKFUL

Tell yourself "Thank you." What parts of your situation can you be thankful for? What lessons have your learned throughout this journey? Thank yourself for them all.

Step 4 - SHOW YOURSELF SOME LOVE

Tell yourself "I love you." If you find that you aren't really feeling that love, ask yourself why and work through those thoughts and feelings until you really mean it.

Feels really good, doesn't it? Now that you've practiced Ho’oponopono, how do you see yourself moving forward to improving your fitness, wellness, and self-care? Leave a comment below and let me know!
