Ready To Throw In The Towel? 3 Things To Consider FIRST

Too much of a good thing DOES exist. Too much sun will burn your skin. Too much alcohol will take you from feeling great to feeling miserably drunk. It doesn't matter which part of your life you consider - BALANCE IS KEY.

Are your best intentions becoming your prison? Are you ready to throw in the towel? Before you decide, keep reading to learn the 3 questions you should ask yourself FIRST. #lifebalance #reflect #decisions #intentions #questions Life Balance Coach | Beflourished.com

There was a time in my life when my fitness routine became too much of a good thing. I got caught up in the hype of "a smaller body is a better body" and turned into someone I didn't even recognize.

My work suffered. My relationships suffered. I was anxious and miserable. Ironically, what began as improving my fitness turned negative, and my entire life was thrown off balance. It wasn't until I realized that I was destroying myself that I was able to adjust what I was doing to find balance and experience what I set out to attain in the first place - true wellness.

Are your best intentions becoming your prison? Are you ready to throw in the towel? Before you decide, get your journal out and explore these 3 questions:

  1. Does what I'm doing ADD to my life?

  2. Have I been feeling BETTER physically and/or mentally since starting this new endeavor?

  3. Am I able to "roll with the punches" if my schedule changes last minute without feeling a sense of anxiety or panic?

If you answered "no" to any of these questions, it may be time to make some adjustments in order to achieve better balance. You can work to make these adjustments on your own, or work with a coach to best discern what needs to be tweaked and how.

Having the opinion of someone who can help you see the forest from the trees is invaluable, and can make or break your long-term success. If you’d like to learn more about how I help my clients achieve better life balance and eliminate overwhelm, click HERE.
